TELS Teacher Certificate
TELS offers a three-tiered certificate for teachers who become proficient in using educational technology as part of projects that involve scientific inquiry. This certificate is designed to align with and help teachers achieve partial fulfillment of HOUSSE requirements and National Board Certification. The TELS Certificate recognizes teachers who attain excellence in fostering educational technology-enhanced learning in science.

The 49 teachers who have enacted TELS projects meet the criteria for Tier I. The 15 who have participated in design partnerships and piloted tested projects have achieved Tier II. TELS teachers who become lead teachers and mentor other colleagues achieve Tier III.
