The WILD project started, at least, with a focus on wireless devices in the classroom. But it looks like there are interesting spin-offs that we should know about. For instance, the ClassSync Modeling Language paper says "The
ClassSync Modeling Language (CML) addresses the problem of creating a controlling overlay to classroom learning activities, or e-learning workflows. ... CML models e-learning workflows with three major components: actors, data objects, and interaction networks ...".
