Multi-site Collaboration SCENARIO

A class in Berkeley is doing a river monitoring unit in collaboration with another class in Saskatoon. The collaboration is readily setup using the new Community tool which allows different classes to link up at various levels.

Once a Community is setup, the teachers can specify, through the Community admin tool, how closely they want to work with the other class. The minimum collaboration lets students share information and work with each other. A the highest level of collaboration, students can see members of the other class and basically interact with them at the same level as members of their own class.
