Description

An author performs the following functions:

Has the ability to author units via a tool.
Has the ability to publish units to a local, remote public or private repository.
Has the ability to setup/run runnable units.

Skillset

Most with basic computer skills
Some with basic HTML scripting skills

Current practices

Authoring projects in wise. Creating activities, notes, hints, etc... wysiwyg authoring. point, click, fill in. Also using basic HTML skills to author some activities.
Authoring projects in pedagogicia. Creating PED scripts with the ACE Authoring tool using JavaScript.

Requirements

impossible to write bugs (eg. HTML)

just connections and filling in parameters
