When running a project with my class, I'd love to be able to keep a Class Status screen active on my teacher computer that can give me a quick visual summary of how the teams of students are progressing. This status screen could indicate:
- Current Step for each Team (display a simple number)
- Students that are progressing at faster than average/average/slower than average pace.
- Students that are exploring links not embedded in the WISE project. I can then walk over and see what they're up to.
- Students who are spending excess time at a single Step.
- # of Notes completed by each student team so far.
- Current Score of each student team
- Flashing icon tells me if a team has submitted Notes that are ready for review/scoring.
In general it would be better to keep the status screen simple, with more information available for a particular group if I ask for it or rollOver their icon. Colors and flashing of various speeds can give me a quick sense of how teams are doing.
