School District Partners
Our school district partners play an integral role in the TELS research process. TELS teachers help researchers define, evaluate, and refine curricular projects. They test and evaluate TELS professional development programs and design school-based supports for teaching with TELS curricula. TELS administrators help to create school environments in which information technology can be used effectively to improve science education. The school districts support TELS with access to technological resources, teacher release time, and mentors for teacher workshops.
